It’s not often that we get to recognize an individual for the extraordinary contributions they have made throughout their lifetime to both the MNLA family and the greater horticulture community. Bill Caras is a most deserving individual, and was nominated for an honorary lifetime membership by long-time MNLA member, Bev Marchie. Congratulations, Bill, and thank you for your dedication and service to the industry! We are proud to have you as a Lifetime Member.

Matt Watts, MFW Landscapes

Matt Watts joined the MNLA Board of Directors in 2019, not knowing what a ride he was in for, as the world shut down the following year during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the challenges, Matt kept showing up and contributing - and hasn't stopped since. He tells us that over 20 years ago he was told never to call soil "dirt" , for it is the foundation to all that lives above it. This guiding principle has led to learning and growing in sustainable landscape designs, and in supporting education for Montana's entire green industry. In fact, Matt is so committed to his service on the MNLA Board of Directors that he has volunteered to serve another year as President to fill a vacancy on the Board. We appreciate all you have done, and continue to do, for the Association, Matt. Thank you!

Steve Lehenbauer, River Ridge Landscape Co.

Steve has given so much to the Association over his two (yes, two!) terms of service on the Board of Directors. His dedication and tireless fight to support the industry and Association members is a testament to his commitment to professionalism and helping fellow MNLA members succeed. During his term he spearheaded the formation of the first local Chapter, which still meets regularly and is thriving under his watch. He also hosts the annual Field Day at his business, River Ridge Landscape Co., welcoming the greater Billings MNLA community for a day of equipment demos and BBQ dinner each year. These examples are just a drop in the bucket of all that Steve pours into the MNLA.  Thank you for all you do, Steve!
