Lucia Christie, Blooming Nursery

Lucia has been been an almost-constant presence in the Association for many years, always showing up with a smile on her face. She has been known to volunteer to jump in an lend a hand whenever and wherever it is needed (including volunteering to fill in for a last-minute speaker cancellation at the Montana Green Expo). Her dedication to the industry and to the MNLA is a testament to her commitment to give back and help fellow MNLA members succeed. Thank you for all you do, Lucia!

Matt Watts, Pro Sweep Plus

Matt Watts joined the MNLA Board of Directors in 2019, not knowing what a ride he was in for, as the world shut down the following year during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the challenges, Matt kept showing up and contributing - and hasn't stopped since. He tells us that over 20 years ago he was told never to call soil "dirt" , for it is the foundation to all that lives above it. This guiding principle has led to learning and growing in sustainable landscape designs, and in supporting education for Montana's entire green industry. In fact, Matt is so committed to his service on the MNLA Board of Directors that he has volunteered to serve another year as President to fill a vacancy on the Board. We appreciate all you have done, and continue to do, for the Association, Matt. Thank you!
